# Results and history

> See how a workflow is performing and exactly what happened on each run

## Overview tab <PlusBadge />

The **Overview** tab shows the last 30 days.

| Number | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **In the workflow now** | People waiting on or running a step right now |
| **Started** | Runs that started |
| **Completed** | Runs that reached the end |
| **Stopped** | Runs that ended early |
| **Booked** | Quote runs where the customer booked. Not shown for **Booking created**. |

Click a number or a day on the **People started each day** chart to see those people in History.

The emails table shows each email's **Sent** count. For quote workflows, it also shows how often the customer then opened the quote, clicked **Book Now**, or booked. Each open, click, and booking counts toward the most recent email sent before it.

**Building a quote** workflows show **Ran**, **Completed**, and **No action** instead.

## History tab

**History** lists every run of the workflow, newest first. Filter by **Status** or **Started** date, or search by name. **Where they are** shows the current step, or why the run ended.

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Waiting** | Paused at a timing step |
| **Running** | Working through steps right now |
| **Completed** | Reached the end |
| **No action** | Reached the end without doing anything, like taking a branch path with no steps |
| **Stopped** | Ended early, by a **Stop when** rule, your team, or a change to the record |
| **Failed** | Something went wrong on our side. Contact support. |

History includes runs from your old workflows.

## The run sheet

Click any run to open it. You see the workflow canvas with this run's path marked:

* Steps that happened show when, like **Sent** or **Applied**
* Skipped steps show why, like "Skipped: the quote was marked lost"
* Upcoming steps show when they're due
* Steps off this run's path are dimmed

Click an email to see what was sent, who it went to, and whether the contact opened the email, opened the quote, or clicked **Book Now**.

If the run stopped, **Why it stopped** explains it. For **Event date unavailable**, it lists which date was blocked or fully booked.

The **Activity** timeline tells the whole story in order: waits, sends, opens, branch paths, and the stop. Click a line to jump to that step.

## On the canvas

While editing, each step shows how many people are at it right now. Hover the badge to see who, or click **See all in History**.

## On the contact

A contact's **Workflows** tab lists every run they've been in, across all workflows. Filter by **Status** or **Trigger**. From here you can:

* Click a run to open its run sheet
* Click **Stop workflow** on an active run
* Click **Enroll in workflow** to [start one by hand](/workflows/workflow-enrollments#enroll-someone-by-hand)

Runs also appear in the contact's **Activity** feed and the quote timeline.
